North West Cambridge Development: Artists in Residence Talk 2015 at the Festival of Ideas with Ruth Ewan, Lise Autogena and Joshua Portway

Oct 19th 2015 - 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Sainsbury Laboratory, Lecture Theatre, Cambridge University, Bateman Street CB2 1LR

Managed and curated by the Contemporary Art Society and InSite Arts, the Habitation Artist Residency Programme forms the backbone of the public art strategy for the North West Cambridge Development. The artists are the first inhabitants of the site and participate in research collaborations with University of Cambridge departments to produce a range of creative responses that engender a sense of place for the new community.

The programme encourages collaboration between artists and departments within the University. In this, the third year of residencies, Lise Autogena and Joshua Portway are working work with The Sainsbury Laboratory and Ruth Ewan with the North West Cambridge Development Project Team. Join the artists at the Sainsbury Laboratory as they talk about their work and their Residency research.
